Latest Update (June 2025): The Bihar government has launched a special housing scheme for Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs) under the PM-JANMAN initiative.

To provide permanent pucca houses with essential amenities to the most vulnerable tribal families across Bihar.

- 1,308 families belonging to 9 recognized PVTGs in Bihar.
- Includes tribes like Asur, Birhor, Parhaiya, Sauriya Pahariya, and others.
